Japanese computer manufacture, Fujitsu brings to the market their new invention, which is Biodegradable mouse. Maybe it looks simple because the form and feature given are similar with other computer mouse but Fujitsu as its producer claims that the materials used are 100% recyclable. The mouse name is M440 Eco Mouse. This breakthrough brings the technology to the new chapter of industry, which is environment friendly.

Like its name, the mouse does not use any conventional plastic as its basic material. To replace it, Fujitsu uses biodegradable Arboform and Biograde. The composition of those materials is similar with conventional plastic, but it can be parsed easily. Arboform that used by Fujitsu is coming from Tecnaro; this material is made from lignin; byproduct of paper industry. Biograde is made from wood fiber, produce by FkuR. Fujitsu claims also that the cable used in the mouse does not harm the environment because is 100% free from PVC.

Unfortunately, even the cover is 100% safe for the environment, but the component inside still contains conventional materials. Fujitsu seems unable to find the replacement for those materials. However, the core of this mouse becomes the first step to anyone who cares about the environment to use only environment friendly items.
